Classes
As in life, our focus in yoga should be on the process and not the end result. I am passionate about introducing the benefits of yoga to as many people as possible and firmly believe that we should never be intimidated by a class - it doesn’t matter what the person next to you can do, each of our bodies move in different ways and we should embrace that uniqueness.
I encourage my students to approach each class with an open mind, to remember every practice is different, and to take what we need and leave what we don’t. Take a breath and enjoy the moment.
I feel I have only scratched the surface of what I can do to help people reap the benefits of a regular practice, so am continuing to pursue advanced qualifications to allow me to teach a broader curriculum and I look forward to sharing these with my students soon. I also volunteer my time for people and communities who don't normally have access to the physical and mental benefits that yoga can bring. Please contact me if this may be of interest to you.

I love Katy’s yoga classes. They are a perfect combination of challenging and doable techniques with a deep sense of relaxation at the core. Katy has a very friendly and welcoming teaching style and is great at personalising the teaching to the individual. I always feel great after her yoga classes and really look forward to them.
